The first thing I do when I speak to you is listen. I listen to your story. I listen to what you have tried, and I listen to that voice inside of you that tells you how disappointed you are in yourself. Why is nothing working? I listen when you have exhausted all options.
My Process
Once I have listened to you, we will find a place to start. There is always a place to start, and we slowly unfold what stops you from having the life that you want. What has got in the way? What stops you being the person that you know you are.

What is EFT (Tapping)?
Emotional Freedom Technique is a self care tool. In a simplified explanation, you use your fingertips to tap on acupuncture points around the body while you think about and say aloud thoughts and feelings that you find stressful. This could be a childhood traumatic event, a recent car accident or fall, financial stressors such as bills or debt, anxiety around exams, fears of public speaking or a belief that you are not good enough. The words EFT and Tapping are used interchangeably to describe the technique.
How will seeking Emotional Freedom help me?
The primary purpose of tapping is to release yourself of unwanted and negative thoughts and emotions, and to decrease your stress response.
The goal is to release from our mind and body emotions such as anger, frustration,fear, self doubt and the inner critical voice telling us that we are unworthy or not good enough. This emotional freedom allows us to manifest our greatest selves. This might look like a new loving relationship, a promotion at work, an ability to achieve things you have procrastinated over, or approach problems with clarity, and may include healing physical pain.
Scientifically the technique has also been shown to drastically reduce cortisol levels. Cortisol is a stress hormone and when levels are high the results are lowered immune function and negative effects on our health such as fatigue illnesses.
Tapping on acupressure points switches off our fight and flight response (stress response) and switches us into a rest and restore state.
It is generally accepted by the medical field that 85% of illness has a stress related component. Tapping is able to reduce the stress response it is therefore possible that tapping can bring about improvements in health and wellbeing.
Is there any scientific evidence to prove eft works?
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is unique and speed of healing varies for everyone. You may need anything from 1-10 sessions, depending on how long you have been dealing with an issue. Childhood issues and big trauma’s tend to take longer to heal.
Children usually respond very rapidly to tapping often only requiring 3-6 sessions to resolve an issue.
Can I use tapping to work on my issues myself?
Absolutely! In fact I encourage clients to continue tapping themselves after the first session.Once you have learnt the basics, I will guide you to draw up a tapping tree to help identify symptoms, events, and core beliefs that may be contributing to stress in your life, and help guide you to address various aspects of those, to promote healing and inner peace.
What does EFT treat?
There is not much that EFT can’t help improve, as a proven stress management technique for the mind and body. The more specific you are the more terrific your results will be. Commonly treated issues include:

How does Tapping work?
Stimulating the acupressure points used in EFT sends a signal to the amygdala ( the part of the brain associated with our emotions and the stress centre). This signal reduces the arousal of the amygdala and instead sends a calming signal to the brain. Everyone reports feeling calmer after tapping, and this explains why people often yawn when using the technique.
